Marmaduke Wine Club
Membership meetings
Held monthly in the club room at the Marmaduke Forster House for
members to discuss new and exciting wines, excellent culinary experiences
and to listen to quest experts in such areas as:
- Food Pairings
- Best Wine Values from Around the World
- Upcoming Wine Trends
- Building a Personal Wine Portfolio
- How to Choose Glassware
- Wine and Bar Equipment
There will be a sampling of wines (or other spirits)
as part of the presentations.
Tastings
In addition to the regular meetings, there will be formal tastings
held in the Tasting Room at the Marmaduke Forster House. These will
include other spirits such as brandies, ports, liqueurs, aperitifs,
single malts, beers and ales, as well as the best olive oils.
Classes
Specially designed courses for members, made available at an attractive
rate, for the deeper enjoyment and understanding of the world of
wines and food.
Wine Dinners
Menus designed to highlight and complement select wines from around
the world. Available to our members and their guests at some of the
best restaurants in Westchester and Fairfield.
Discounts
From participating liquor stores, restaurants and other purveyors of
wine-related products and services (including travel packages, wine
education courses, winemaking equipment, and glassware, etc.)
Wine Storage
Limited number of opportunities for storage in a climate-controlled
wine cellar.
Quarterly Newsletter
Tips, recipes and picks from wine and food exerts, notes and member
blogs from past events, and a calendar of future events.
